Beyond Academics

Sports and Games

Outdoor Games

The sports curriculum at JBS is meticulously designed to foster holistic development through physical activities, emphasizing the inter connectedness of physical, intellectual, and emotional well-being for students. Outdoor games play a pivotal role in this approach, including Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Cricket, Karate, and Athletics. The objective is twofold: to train students in the skills required for each sport and to impart a deep understanding of the rules and strategies. Beyond skill development, the curriculum actively encourages participation in both Inter and Intra school activities, fostering a sense of camaraderie and healthy competition.

Indoor Games

Complementing the outdoor activities, the sports curriculum at JBS places equal importance on indoor games to ensure an all-rounded approach to physical education. Students engage in games such as Chess, Carom, Table Tennis, Yoga, and Aerobics, contributing to their overall physical fitness and mental agility. These indoor activities serve not only as recreational pastime but also as platforms for honing strategic thinking, concentration, and flexibility. As with outdoor games, students are provided ample opportunities to participate in Inter and Intra school events, fostering a comprehensive and inclusive sports culture within the school community.
